Dr. Brandon Lynch, a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, joined the practice in 2017. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame. His medical education continued at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at Summa Akron Health System, where he also received Da Vinci robotic training certification.
Post-residency, Dr. Lynch has further honed his skills with advanced robotic training, focusing on complex hernia repair and lung surgery. He stays abreast of the latest developments in general surgery through specialized conferences.
Dr. Lynch has a keen interest in robotic surgery, particularly in the areas of reflux, hiatal hernia, hernia, lung and colorectal surgeries. His experience spans routine procedures like inguinal hernia repairs and cholecystectomies to more complex surgeries such as lung lobectomies and abdominal wall reconstructions with component separation. As of January 2025, he has successfully completed over 900 robotic procedures.
