Dr. Brandon Lynch is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who joined Lynch Surgical Group in 2017. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, where he also obtained certification in da Vinci robotic surgery. In 2025, he was honored with the Indiana University School of Medicine Teaching Impact Award for his contributions to medical student education.
Dr. Lynch practices a broad range of general surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery, endoscopy, gallbladder surgery, complex hernia repair, colorectal surgery, and thoracic procedures. He has a particular interest in robotic surgery and, as of January 2026, has performed more than 1,100 robotic procedures.
Dr. Lynch also has a particular interest in helping patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernias. He provides comprehensive reflux care, from diagnostic evaluation with EGD and Bravo pH testing to robotic surgical treatment, including LINX, hiatal hernia repair, and traditional fundoplication.
